This is a business that truly deserves the 5 star rating. I would HIGHLY, highly recommend them. The professionalism is something we don't see often these days. Every time I needed to talk/email/text they were very responsive. The firm also is not about taking our money, but helping the client get the best value. I am using Donatello Electric for my basement project. It’s about 1100-1200 SF so it’s like a small house not just a room. They met with me ahead of time, reviewed the plans with me, and have been at the inspections to go through everything with the inspector from the city. That’s very useful. We have passed all our inspections so far, and they have made good advice about how to space the recessed cans. They are always on time, come when they say they are coming (seems unusual in construction!) and they are easy to work with. They are not the least expensive but neither are they the most expensive. Their pricing is fair. Their work is professional. And the inspector is happy! Thank you!!

Highly recommend! We had the electrical work in our basement completely removed and re-installed with updated track lighting. Electrical outlets and light switches were also moved to more convenient places in the space. They were on time and did what they said they would do each day. The final price was just as what was quoted at the beginning of the job. Most importantly, they did what we asked them to do without trying to upsell or talk us into something else. Finally, they were thoughtful of our animals by making sure to keep the doors closed where we instructed. Very good work, very capable, very professional and cleaned up when they left.

It is with complete confidence that I would recommend Donatello Electric to anybody, whether you have a small job or are building a large home. It was about 10 years ago that we found Don through a friend of ours. It was a quick service call, although he was competent, personable and treated us as though we were his best clients. The scale of the job doesn’t seem to be a concern of his. His real talents emerged when we were gutting a home four years ago. It wasn’t in the original plan but it was discovered, through our contractor, that there were serious electrical concerns in this older house. Enter “Don the Phenomenon”, as we liked to refer to him.

The intricacies of electrical work are very foreign to me, but Don was patient throughout the entire process. He would draw large diagrams on taped-up paper over the studs to help me understand where things were going. He was meticulous in his measurements. As I was somewhat of a co-contractor, we worked together on task lighting and ambient lighting. He helped me to understand what needed to go where and why. It didn’t take long for me to completely turn my trust over to him. The men that worked for him were equally as skilled. We’ve been in our home for 3 years now and I still marvel at how important getting the right lighting is. We put everything (ask Don, EVERYthing) on dimmers and we can change the glow in our home to our liking at the push of a button. There’s not a thing I would change, and that’s a real testament to Don Bonfiglio.
